Whether you want to pick up voice lessons for the first time, get back into it, or just need to brush up on your vocal fundamentals and practice, private lessons are perfect for you. In each lesson you'll get to warm up and work different parts of your voice through various exercises and techniques. You'll also get to work on a song of your choice, and receive feedback, tips and tricks to figure out how to approach repertoire in a stylistically rich and effortless way of singing. You can focus on many aspects of our singing system such as breathing, vowel placement, intonation, pitch accuracy, registers (head, chest, mix), expanding range, experimenting with your timbre and more!

ABOUT NESLY K - YOUR COACHHey songbirds! My name is Nesly K, I am the vocal coach and founder of The Jam Nest! With more than a decade of experience teaching all ages in both private and group settings, I have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about what makes vocal lessons effective/successful/work. My background is in psychology and education, so I deeply understand the effect that mindful, playful lessons have on the learning process. Naturally, the use of fun visuals and games are important for lessons with young students, but I believe that * everyone * deserves to have fun while singing - kids, teens, and adults alike! We like to get creative with our lessons at The Jam Nest; I have used flow balls, trash bags, singing straws, board games, and more in my teaching.
